Washing new potatoes has always been both time-consuming and to be honest quite dull
It's likely that most of us recall the frustration of cleaning potato after potato and the feeling that the dirt-covered pile of potatoes never decreases. Since the dirt contributes to a great taste, it would be impossible to have them any other way.
This was also the case in 2016, when three new fathers were spending their summer vacation at the cottage washing new potatoes. They thought there must be a simpler way to handle this chore all the Nordics know so well. After their vacation, these fathers had a drawing for a simple and easy solution to this dilemma that was sure to excite every new potato lover. An idea turned into a Potturi after a couple of years.
From dirt-covered potatoes to clean ones in less than a minute
It's impossible to imagine summer without new potatoes, pickled herring, and fresh dill, but Potturi lets you enjoy every bit of the process! To wash your new potatoes, you simply add 0,5 kg of potatoes, close the lid, rinse with water and shake. The entire process of cleaning new potatoes takes less than a minute. Potturi can be used in a lake, sea, bucket, basin or even a sink at home and can be stacked and washed in a dishwasher. Thus, Potturi is the perfect companion whether you are going to your summer cottage or on a sailing trip, for instance. Potturi would also make a wonderful gift e.g. for the hostess or host of the Midsummer party!
